ISCCM 2023 is no longer accepting abstract submissions, as the submission period has ended.

Important deadlines; Mark your calendars!
The deadline for submitting an abstract is June 18, 2023 (12 PM CET)
You will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection on July 6, 2023 (before 12 PM CET)

General guidelines:

  • Abstracts should cover original, scientific work that may already have been published recently.

  • There is no abstract submission fee.

  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the contents of the abstract before submission.

  • Submission of an abstract implies formal commitment by the designated presenting author to register for the conference and to present the abstract. However, registration is not required at the time of submission.

  • Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission.

  • All submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee and will endeavor to schedule abstracts according to the conference topics and authors’ preferences, but reserves the right to make the final decision.

  • All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the (digital) abstract book and on the conference website prior to the conference;

  • The corresponding author will receive all correspondence about the abstract. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that the presenting author also acts as corresponding author.

  • Selected abstracts will be either presented as an oral presentation or as a poster.

  • Master students, PhD students and other young investigators in the cultivated meat space are particularly encouraged to submit their abstracts.

  • Please kindly note that abstracts which not have been submitted via the online abstract submission form will be returned for correction.

Abstract guidelines

  • Abstracts must be written in English.

  • Include all author and co-authors’ details, including affiliation, town and country.

  • The abstract text should be limited to 250 words.
